     The Center for the Study and Research on Nursing Informatics aims to develop information technology and the use of information and communication technologies in the context of management, nursing and nursing education practices, as well as improving the quality of clinical, managerial and educational practice, configured as follows:

To promote studies and research on the insertion of information technology into the daily practice of nurses' professional, with a view to the restructuring of work;

   
x Analyze the information requirements;

Design, implement and evaluate the information systems and data structure that support nursing;

Develop specific information systems, focused on nursing organization, management and care practices;

   
x

Develop and evaluate educational software using hypermedia resources.
